Tried the whole chicken meal with pickles today, but unfortunately, Charcoal House fell a bit short of expectations. With a strong 4.9 rating and over 150 reviews, I was really hoping I discovered a hidden gem. Overall, the chicken was just okay — the breast was slightly dry, the maryland was decent, and the housemade seasoning was nice. I’m a big fan of garlic sauce, so I was particularly excited for theirs, but it ended up being a letdown. The garlic flavour was very mild and lacked the punch I was hoping for. On a more positive note, the chips were excellent. The chicken salt and rosemary seasoning really stood out, and they paired nicely with the meal.

I recently dined at Charcoal House Restaurant, and I must say, it was a great experience! The charcoal chicken and the BBQ skewers were absolutely delicious—perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. Their BBQ offerings are among the best I’ve ever had; every bite was packed with flavour. The service was excellent, with attentive staff who made sure we had everything we needed. Plus, the prices are very reasonable for the quality of food and service you receive. I highly recommend Charcoal House to anyone looking for a fantastic meal!

One of the best restaurants we have dined at absolutely beautiful food the seasoning are amazing the staff are amazing great experience the only negative was trying to figure out what to order so we ordered a mix and it was all absolutely delicious will definitely be back and will definitely recommend
